Question & Answer Interview

1. What is a typical day/week like for you?

Between making and promoting music and balancing my family life it can be busy. I try to spend as much time on music as possible but usually that is only about 3-4hrs a day. Sometimes it’s writing and creating new music, sometimes it’s storyboarding music videos or creating visual content, sometimes it’s researching new marketing strategies. There’s always work to be done and I love it.

2. What is your best memory of starting your career?

Opening for Bone Thugs was dope but honesty my favorite memories are when I was doing free shows on the beach in Oceano. Great times and made a lot of fans. No better feeling than being on stage.

3. What advice would you give to someone wanting to create and market a brand from scratch?

Take your time and be deliberate in what you’re doing. I see a lot of young artists who want to rush in to getting attention without properly developing their own style or image and that is the quickest way to sabotage your music career before it begins. Take your time finding your own style and purpose in the industry and be deliberate in your releases, posts and promotion. If making it big on music was quick and easy everyone would be famous. Be patient and keep working.

4. How can others reach out to you for music collaboration information?

My inbox is always open! Goforaaroncali is my handle on all social media and I’m always down to work.

5. What’s your next marketing moves for your career?

Currently promoting my latest music video (Insomnia) on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram and very soon I will be promoting my next project “Frown”

6. Name your top 5 musicians; dead or alive?

Not in any order: Mos Def, Immortal Technique, Nipsey Hussle, Eminem and Mac Miller
