1.What is a typical day/week like for you?
Super busy I have 8 kids am writing a new book and working on my new business. I usually wake up at 5am and go to work as a school bus driver. I have a break in between from 10 to 1 and that time I usually schedule doctors appointments, run errands or catch up on some house work.
2. What is your best memory of the start of your career?
The best memory for me is now, is the fact that I didn’t ignore that aha moment and decided to take a chance living my dream of becoming a children’s book author and opening up my own business.
3.What advice would you give to someone wanting to pursue this career?
Go for it, you will never. Know if this is what you want unless you try it.
4.What book of yours are you most proud of?
I am extremely proud of my first children’s book Jessie and The Kindness Beads because it teaches a lesson for people of all ages about being kind and accepting people for their differences.
5. What is your biggest accomplishment?
“I guess my greatest accomplishment is writing a children’s book and deciding to open up my own business while still working part time and raising my kids. I was a bit scared. Still, God doesn’t give us what we can’t handle. They are so proud of me and that makes me happy, I feel like super woman. I’m ready for a new challenge!”

7. How can you maintain your exposure?
As a self publisher is a lot of work. You don’t have someone doing the work for you. But I’m willing to put in the work. There isn’t anyone standing in your way of getting your book published. The only person that can stop you from sharing your book with the world is YOU! With my party planning business by showing my work I think people will appreciate what I do and bring smiles. My work will speak for it self.
8. What’s next for your enterprise?
There is so much more I want to do. Maybe I will work on a nonprofit organization helping kids. I’m just getting started.
