Iman Abdul Rahim known professionally as E the Elite is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer, actor and entrepreneur (CEO of LSL ENT). This young entertainer from Newark, New Jersey is currently a full time college student, entrepreneur, activist, actor, educator, martial artist, public speaker, and role model who has performed at the Meadowlands Expo Center, Newark Symphony Hall, Prudential Center, and more. He has been interviewed by a number of stations including Radio 103.9 and iHeart Radio's 90.3 WMSC. He has shared a line up with artists such as Joe Budden, Juelz Santana, and Joelle Ortiz, Rah Digga, Driicky Graham, Fat Joe, Carl Thomas, Talib Kweli, Lords of The Underground and many more. He has performed in several states internationally.
Performing at places and with people of that magnitude has helped put E the Elite in public view with with a large following. His first album made over $4000 in one summer without the assistance of a major label or distribution deal. However, despite being locally known as a performing artist, he is a philanthropist as well. He’s raised thousands of dollars for local independent urban businesses in his city. One of which he donates to annually because they give scholarships to high school seniors every year. He has been giving back to his community since he was a teen.
He is also an idealist surrounding black rights and community empowerment. He wishes to bring about change through being a positive role model, guiding the youth, and self-expression. Each of his albums features a number of songs some of which are not only free of profanity but contain an uplifting message and creative wordplay without losing that mainstream sound and urban appeal. He's known for being "creatively different" and being capable of verbally painting funny, lighthearted, or dark pictures depending on the song's mood.

1. What is a typical day/week like for you?
I’m always getting into new adventures inside and outside of the music life. Outside of the unpredictable, I work, I go to kickboxing training every day, I hit my in-home studio and I record. I like experimenting with new recipes when I cook which is just about every day. Last night I made Tikki Marsala Curry using spicy chicken katsu and garlic rice. I used to love playing Xbox but I’ve been so busy with music I don’t play as much.
2. What is your best memory of starting your career?
I have way too many so I’ll say the first thing that comes to mind. Going to SXSW was super fun for me. It was awesome seeing so many artists that I listened to in person and they talked to me with respect and that was really cool. That was my first time in Texas and I had a blast performing out there. They showed mad love.
3. What advice would you give to someone wanting to create and market a brand from scratch?
Know what you want. You should be comfortable with creative decisions. It’s important to have a target demographic so that you can appeal to the interests of that audience. I recommend a brand name that’s appealing to say and a logo that’s simple yet memorable.

5. What’s your next marketing moves for your career? Talk about your new song “Basically”?
I’m going to be consistently dropping singles this year to build up the hype for a full release. So far the singles I’ve been putting out have been getting some good reviews so I’m feeling good about everything. I want to use this time to showcase versatility as an artist. “Basically” is a song I made because
I wanted to make a song I would have fun performing and would be easy for people to remember. I got a lot of great feedback on that one.
6. Name your top 5 musicians; dead or alive?
I like a LOT of music from many different genres but I’m going to go with emcees I feel like have made consistently fire music. Off the top of my head, I’m gonna say; Juice WRLD, Kevin Gates, Lil Wayne, Doja Cat, and Saint Jhn.
