Antonio stars as Mob leader "Pretty Ricky" Santos in the TV series "Sangre Negra .. Black Blood " now streaming on the Tubi TV network. He also wrote and produced the series and won the 2020 "Black and Latino film" best actor in an episodic TV series award for his portrayal of the character. Born to Jamaican and Hispanic parents, Antonio has landed the romantic lead in such films as "The Perfect Model", "Sweet Perfection" and "Proximity". However, it was his nasty turn as the sinister pimp "Sparky" in Canada's C.B.C movie of the week "Runaway" that was rewarded with the A.C.T.R.A Award for Best Dramatic Performance in a movie made for television and sealed his reputation for portraying slick, smart and sexy "bad guys". Antonio has been the guest star in over 35 television shows in both the U.S and Canada including "Clueless", "Highlander", "Trapper John M.D", "Law & Order" and "R.X" as well as a recurring role on the late night comedy hit "Jimmy Kimmel Show". This versatile actor/writer has also been the lead in more than 25 theatrical productions in locales ranging from Broadway to Hong Kong. In “SANGRA NEGRA” the Santos Brothers are "Ricky" (played by myself) "Guillermo Jr "(played by Ricardo Herranz) and "Christian"(played by Danny Arroyo) and Erik Estrada plays our father. It is a story about 3 brothers sired by Guillermo Santos (Erik Estrada) a former Latin soccer phenom turned political activist and very wealthy land owner. The brothers are Ricky Guillermo half black, half Hispanic, the illegitimate son of Guillermo Santos. Ricky was born out of a youthful indiscretion by Guillermo Sr. with an African American high school student when touring the USA. His brother, Guillermo Jr. was born from Guillermo Sr’s earlier marriage and Christian is from a recent marriage. Although the brothers wound up living together they all took different paths. Guillermo Jr., is a criminal defense attorney, while like his father, Christian becomes a cop, and Ricky chooses a criminal path. I am the Writer for the series and Frank Pinnock is the Director.
